• The BD Insulin syringes are non-allergic, non-toxic, non-pyrogenic syringes

• It comes with a latex-free rubber stopper with a flat plunger tip (no dead space) for correct insulin dosing

• The scale marking of the barrel is designed for insulin concentrations of 40U/ml (U-40). Because of the different insulin concentrations, the syringes are colour-coded with red colour for 40U/ml insulin versus the orange colour for the much-more commonly used 100U/ml
